Ranvir Shorey for the first time in a long time addressed his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Pooja Bhatt. He did this in a series of tweets that slammed a website that had written about his abusive relationship with Pooja. He rubbished the claims by suggesting that it was the other way round and he was the one who was abused. He also revealed that Manish Makhija was his really good friend before he turned and married Pooja Bhatt. For those unaware, Pooja and Manish were married from 2003 to 2014 and announced their separation after 11 years of marriage.
He also said that these kind of articles are a part of a malicious PR campaign that movie moguls have targetted him with for years.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Ranvir had revealed about the fall out he had with the Bhatt family. He had said that they used to call him an alcoholic and abuser every chance they would get. He also talked about how he felt helpless because he couldn’t do anything about it and it had got really toxic which is why he decided to leave the country for a while.
