Varun Dhawan is definitely one of the most polite Bollywood actors that I’ve encountered. He also has an infectious sense of humour and can definitely take a joke or two. He’s been pretty careful about isolating during this pandemic so we haven’t seen too much of him around town. But we did spot him with Kiara Advani and his girlfriend Natasha Dalal recently. On the work front, it looks like he and Sara Ali Khan are back to work and are filming Coolie No.1. However, we spotted him on his way to the gym right in time to sync up with his recent Instagram post. He talks about his recovery from a shoulder injury he had during the shooting of Street Dancer 3D. It seems that Covid-19 might have been a blessing in disguise for him to get enough rest and rehab for his shoulder. Scroll on to see the funky outfit he wore to his gym.
Varun’s always reminded me of Govinda in a wonderful way. Like he’s a living, breathing embodiment of not only his acting but also his style. Of course, in a more refined and millennial way, but what a wonderful way to reminisce everyone’s favourite start at some point. Varun is nailing not just one trend but two with this very look. He aces the casual athleisure, loungewear look and the colour-blocking trend by opting for two solid colours. Varun wears classic Adidas joggers with 3 white stripes going down the side of his leg and pairs it with a bright orange, deep neck gunjee. He layers his look with a matching, soft jacket with bright, blue lining on the hoodie and statement, round buttons. He matches the colour of his gunjee to the colour of his bright orange, knit sneakers. Definitely a shockwave to the eyes and not a look for the fainthearted. I love that Varun is a risk-taker and isn’t afraid to wear his true style!
Sporting quarantine hair with his tiny man bun, I definitely think he looks way hotter with perfectly coiffed hair. It seems like Varun might have hurriedly put his face mask on before being papped because it definitely wasn’t sitting right on his face. Tsk Tsk Varun, please be careful while you step out because it is imperative for your safety and the safety of others. Albeit, the wrong way, the bright yellow mask was a fun addition to his fun and trendy look.
