Video: Kangana Ranaut Celebrates 1 Million Followers On Twitter

It’s just been a week since Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut has officially joined the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, and she has already reached the 1 million mark. The actress, who was elated and overwhelmed by the love that she garnered on her Twitter debut, took to her handle to celebrate her 1 million followers with a special message video. Donning a traditional Manipuri outfit called Phanek, the actress spoke about Indian handlooms and traditions. She also urged her followers to go for Indian fashion for making a statement.

Expressing her views, Kangana said that our fashion choices are mostly inspired by the West, while our own culture has a great variety of styles to take cues from. Her caption read, “Fashion should be inclusive but what is the point of including others and excluding our own? True meaning of Nationalism is Nation first, our own first, also big cheers to my twitter family of 1 million“. She also shared some gorgeous pictures of her flaunting the Manipuri outfit.

On the professional front, Kangana has some anticipated films in the pipeline. The actress will be seen portraying the late politician, Jayalalithaa in the biopic titled Thalaivi. She also has another film called Tejas which is being produced by the makers of Vicky Kaushal‘s Uri: The Surgical Strike. Kangana will be seen playing the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. The film is scheduled to go on floors in December 2020.
