The coronavirus pandemic has taken over the world and has caged many of us in our own homes for the safety of our loved ones. While things are slowly opening up, it’s not too safe even now. The virus shows no signs of slowing down and even the biggest of celebrities keep contracting it.

The most recent world-renowned celebrity to let the world know that he had been tested positive for the virus is Dwayne The Rock Johnson. The Rock took to his Instagram to post a video in which he revealed that he and his entire family that included his wife Lauren Hashian, two daughters Jasmine and Tia Johnson had all tested positive for Covid-19. The public was largely unaware of his diagnosis, as he seemed pretty active on social media all this while as well. But, the superstar revealed in his video that they had been going through and fighting the disease for two and half three weeks now. He said that this has been one of the most difficult things they’ve had to endure as a family. He also said that he wished it was just him who contracted the virus but that wasn’t the case. He further added that he was grateful to come out the other end having fought the disease, unlike many others who were not so lucky. The actor said that his two baby girls had very mild symptoms and had sore throats for the first few days but after that, they seemed fine. He appealed to everyone around the world to protect themselves, wear a mask, and not politicize this matter in any way.

Take a look at the video below:

We wish The Rock and his entire family a very speedy recovery.
