Filmmaker Anees Bazmee is all set to return to his universe of horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiya 2. However, the director has an important matter to attend to before resumes work on the Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer. The film’s set which has been standing unutilised in Lucknow for the past six months has been affected due to the monsoon.
According to a report by MidDay, the filmmaker was quoted as saying—
We had created a haveli in Lucknow. Now that the monsoon is over, we will have to restructure the set and polish it before we start shooting. It needs a little bit of work. I will initiate talks with my art directors on the way forward.
Anees admits that he is excited to return to the film set after spending almost half the year in lockdown due to coronavirus. While the makers of the film had earlier decided on starting work by December, they have now made the decision of resuming shoot as soon as possible. He was quoted as saying, “We have decided to accelerate the process and resume shoot as soon as possible; it could be next month. The producers are working out the logistics while we get the combination dates of actors”.
