Keeping Up With The Kardashians is a reality show that has built a cult status like no other. All fans of the show have been invested in the lives of this high-profile, celebrity family and their shenanigans for more than a decade now — 14 years to be precise. But now, seems like it’s time to bid the family good-bye from our television screens as they announced that the show is set to go off air in 2021.

A joint statement addressed to all their “amazing fans”, they said:

After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and several spin-off shows, we’ve decided as a family to end this very special journey,” the statement said. “We are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years — through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.

Kim Kardashian West also added a personal note along with this statement which read:

Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at Bunim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives.Keeping Up With The Kardashians first premiered in 2007, and documented the lives of Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Scott Disick. It has been a cult show on television, through which they earned millions of dollars every season. It has also given the family the reach to start their own fashion, beauty and lifestyle ventures and brands in all these years. This sure is some sad news for all the fans of the show, but I can’t wait to watch what the Kardashian family has in store for us in the coming times!
