A day after Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation authorities knocked down Kangana Ranaut’s office partially, now it has emerged that Bollywood designer, Manish Malhotra‘s property has also come under the scanner of the corporation. Manish has been issued a notice by the BMC for illegally turning his residence into a commercial space. The latter has been given a seven-day notice.

According to reports, the BMC has raised questions over alleged constructions at the designer’s bungalow which also situated at Pali Hill in Mumbai. BMC has called attention to the unauthorised addition and alteration by way of constructing partitions, cabins and unauthorised erection of a structure on the first floor of his office at the bungalow. The notice has reportedly been sent to him under section 342 and 345 of the MMC Act while writing that he will liable for prosecution under Section 475 A if his clarification on why the illegal constructions should not be demolished are dissatisfying.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, a spokesperson for Manish stated that there was no irregularity and for the past 15 years the office has been in the same condition. He further clarified that if there are any concerns raised by the municipal corporation, they will cooperate with them.
