Kareena Kapoor Khan makes it a point to visit her sister Karisma Kapoor at least once every week. And each time she steps out, the actor puts together outfits that are noteworthy. Noteworthy for they are always casual yet dressy, comfortable without looking slouchy and contain an element of cosiness along with effortless style. And yet not a single silhouette or style that she repeats. Except for co-ord sets. Kareena loves a co-ord set that’s snazzy enough to make a statement and casual enough to lounge in. Take a look at a Rajdeep Ranawat set she wore when she spent a day with her It-girl squad of Bollywood at Amrita Arora‘s place just recently. Over the weekend, Kareena paid a visit to her sister in another notable co-ord set, slightly raising the bar of maternity fashion. Scroll ahead for a closer look at her outfit.
Kareena Kapoor Khan makes a case for chic and comfortable co-ord sets for maternity-wear:
Accompanied by the sensational Taimur Ali Khan, Kareena stepped out in an outfit by Gulabo Jaipur. Dipped in a lovely shade of indigo, the co-ord set was fairly basic but was elevated with a paisley print using the block-printing technique. Crafted using cotton, the blouse featured 3/4th sleeves that she teamed with straight-cut trousers. On the other hand, Taimur went for a smart, formal look. His picks: a blush pink, full-sleeved, checkered shirt, a pair of jeans and white shoes teamed with a superman mask.
In the accessory department, Kareena opted for nothing but a metallic silver watch and a dainty gold chain with a chunky pendant. However, she spruced up her outfit further with her nude, suede pumps that are inevitably the actor’s favourite! As for her hair, Kareena kept it fuss-free with her tresses pulled back in a neat bun.
I’m particularly fond of Kareena’s outfit for 3 reasons: it’s season-friendly, skin-complementing and apt to lounge in at home when you want to keep it casual yet dressy!
