Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput‘s untimely death, his family and loved ones have been missing him immensely. His sister, Shweta Singh Kirti in particular, shares some beautiful memories with him on her Instagram. Apart from sharing his childhood pictures and their Whatsapp conversations, she has also conducted global prayer meets for Sushant. Now recently, she had initiated a global movement where she had requested all of Sushant’s loved ones and friends to plant a sapling in his memory to help fulfil his dream.
It was one of Sushant’s last wishes to plant as many trees as he could. To make this possible, his sister started an initiative, encouraging all his fans and loved ones to plant a sapling for him. She informed that as part of the programme, more than one lakh trees were planted in his honour.
She shared a video of everyone who joined in to plant a sapling, with the song Manjha from Sushant’s debut film, Kai Po Che, playing in the background.
Ankita Lokhande was also part of this initiative started by Shweta. She shared pictures of her planting the saplings along with her doggo.
Sushant death case is currently being investigated by the CBI and the NCB in relation to a drug angle.
