Veteran actors Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor redefined brotherhood in Bollywood films with Subhash Ghai’s 1989 film, Ram Lakhan. The actors’ bond remains strong even today and their social media banters are proof of their friendship. It was recently when Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram to share a video of himself running along the beach in Alibaug and friend Jackie praised him. His comment read “Bhidu bhari”, a colloquial Mumbai phrase for saying ‘Friend, that’s great’.
Soon after his comment, Anil Kapoor’s reply which spoke of an offer got the fans excited. The actor wrote, “get ready for our next together.. team working on it…”. Jackie Shroff then took to his Instagram handle to share the screenshot and captioned it with a response to the actor’s comment. The caption read, “Eagerly waiting my Lakhan …”

On the professional front, Jackie Shroff was last seen in a cameo appearance in Ahmed Khan-helmed Baaghi 3 alongside his son, Tiger Shroff. The film also starred Riteish Deshmukh, Shraddha Kapoor, Ankita Lokhande and others. The actor has a lineup of films which includes Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi, Salman Khan-starrer, Radhe and Sanjay Gupta’s Mumbai Saga among other regional films.
