The unfortunate death of the bright, young, 34-year-old actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, in June this year has left a lot of hearts in the country and around the world disheartened. In a bid to pay tribute to him, one such person, a sculptor from Asansol in West Bengal, has created a wax-statue in his memory.

Susanta Ray has his own museum in Asansol and has a lot of such statues including those of Amitabh Bachchan and Virat Kohli, too.

Talking about his statue, he told ANI:

I liked him (Sushant Singh Rajput) a lot. It is unfortunate that he passed away. In his memory, I have made this statue for my museum. However, if Sushant’s family requests for his statue, I will make a new one.

Have a look at the photos he had posted:

Sushant’s sister had, in his memory, just initiated a global movement for her brother, where she got many people together to plant more than one lakh trees in his memory. She says it was one of his dreams to plant those many trees, and all his fans, friends and family made that happen.

Coming back to the statue, it sure is a lovely gesture to celebrate the memory of the late actor.
