As actor Ranbir Kapoor awaits the resumption of the final stint of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra he is sifting through scripts to home in on his future projects. According to a report by MidDay, it is learnt that the Barfi actor has been approached by the streaming platform, Disney+Hotstar for an assassin drama. After Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir is the second actor to be in talks with the streaming giant for his digital debut. Hrithik has reportedly been offered an official adaptation the assassin drama, The Night Manager.

The publication quoted a source as saying—

The discussions began only a few weeks ago. Only if RK gives his nod, the team will begin the hunt for a director. The 10-part series has been envisioned on a grand scale and will be shot across multiple countries. The show is not likely to go on floors soon as the multi-country shoot will be hard to pull off amid the current restrictions. Also, Ranbir Kapoor has allotted his dates to his next with Shraddha Kapoor that rolls in November.

Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani‘s Sanju which also starred Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Vicky Kaushal and Jim Sarbh.
