In the past few months, we have got the opportunity to enjoy new releases in the comfort of our homes. But the movie lovers will tell you that the joy of watching a new release on the silver screen remains unparalleled. While it is still not certain as to when the cinemas will reopen, the makers of Khaali Peeli have launched a new initiative called Supermoon Drive-in, which is sure to appease the movie buffs.

The Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday-starrer, which is all set to drop on Zee Plex on October 2, will also be among India’s first films to have a synchronous premiere at drive-in theatres in Gurugram and Bengaluru. Swaroop Banerjee, COO and business head, Zee Live, said that they have chalked out 10 shows over the course of three days. According to a report by MidDay, he was quoted as saying— “The drive-in premiere will enable audiences to step out and watch the movie from the safety of their cars at Backyard Sports Club in Gurugram and Phoenix Market City in Bengaluru.” Ka Pae Ranasingam featuring Vijay Sethupathy will also premiere in Bengaluru, with two shows allotted daily.

Helmed by Maqbool Khan and jointly produced by Ali Abbas Zafar, Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Zee Studios, Khaali Peeli also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Satish Kaushik among others.
