Juhi Chawla still remains one of the best actresses the Hindi film industry has to offer. She started her career in Bollywood with Sultanat in 1986 but shot to fame with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. While we’re not seeing as much of her as we’d like to on-screen, she makes sure to leave a lasting impression whenever she does. She was last seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga alongside Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao.
But in a recent interview with Times Of India, Juhi talked about how her kids Jahnavi and Arjun react to watching her films. She revealed that her kids were embarrassed of her films and said that she tried to make them watch some of her old work and they were not too keen to watch it. She even added that once her son had told her that he wouldn’t want to watch any of her romantic films because he found it strange.
She talked about an incident when her husband Jay Mehta had suggested that they should watch Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke as it is a cute film and her son, Arjun asked her if it had romance. Juhi told him that yes it was a romantic comedy and he was quick to say that he wouldn’t want to watch her films with romance as they get very strange. He also added that then he wouldn’t watch any of her films.
She further added that the only films of hers that her kids have appreciated were Main Krishna Hoon and Chalk n Duster.
She will next be seen in the film Sharmaji Namkeen.
