Vidya Balan had gotten back to work in August as he shot for a brand commercial. And now according to a report by MidDay the actor is all set to shoot for her first film post the pandemic. The team of Vidya Balan’s Sherni is supposed to kick off a 35-day schedule in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, by the last week of October. The reports also suggest that the makers have roped in an agency to make sure that the safety measures are adopted on set.

The publication also mentioned that a source close to the production unit revealed that while the cast and crew will jet off to Nagpur to head to the final destination, arrangements of road transportation has been made for certain unit hands who will be required to carry equipment.

The source was quoted as saying—

A team of five to six members, who will serve as COVID-19 watchdogs, will be present on set every day to ensure that the crew is following all safety norms. Besides the government’s guidelines, the health experts will lay down additional COVID risk-management protocol. These experts are part of a professional agency that has monitored several ad shoots over the past few months. Even as they aim to achieve a zero-incident shoot, the makers have created isolation centres for asymptomatic people, on the recommendation of the experts.
Helmed by Amit Masurkar, the film will see Vidya Balan playing the role of a forest officer who is keen on solving man-animal conflict
