“Go big or go home” has been Malaika Arora‘s favoured fashion mantra and her signature style heavily revolves around that motto. Mainly her looks at public appearances. The actor has an affinity for head-turning ensembles. Either it’s the colour of her outfit, risqué details or buoyant silhouettes, there’s always something head-turning from Malaika’s looks that makes her such a fashion-forward personality. Her latest outfit is yet another testament to that. Malaika’s stylist Maneka Harisinghani posted a behind-the-scenes video on her Instagram of the actor getting ready for India’s Best Dancer in an ethnic outfit that you’re going to love if you’re big on dancing at weddings. A fan of statement blouses? Malaika Arora’s lehenga + blouse combo is for you:

Malaika’s outfit for the day was a canary yellow set by Tarun Tahiliani. The lehenga set is just the statement-making number you need if you like to swing it at Indian ceremonies. It’s perfectly extravagant for a Sangeet and also comfortable and fluid enough for mobility. The draped, micro-pleated, one-shoulder blouse came with an asymmetrical cape on one side. The actor teamed it with a floor-sweeping lehenga featuring intricate resham embroidery and minimal embellishments.

To jazz up her look further, Malaika opted for a statement temple necklace with orange beads and a massive Ganesha pendant. She wore it with a chunky metallic choker with hints of royal blue. Traditional black hoops, a polki bangle and a statement ring by Apala completed her look. Makeup-wise, Malaika opted for heavily bronzed eyes and flushed cheeks with a mauve lip. As for her hair, she left them open in light waves.
