9 PRACTICAL changes you will witness because of 20 minutes daily meditation. 1. Your skin will glow, your hair will grow stronger. All about the oxygenation of your body, baby. 2. Calmness. Anxiety is an outcome of too much energy. Meditation asks you to focus on ONE thing only. Such focussed focus tends to drain excess mental energy. 3. Your focus will improve tremendously. Meditating trains your mind to come back to the job at hand… away from random thoughts. 4. You will be much more aware of your emotions and therefore you will not lose your temper easily. Because your mind is used to so much training, your internal world becomes more and more clear. 5. You will feel much more emotionally stable. Often thanks to a good crying session that deep meditation can lead to. The pain will be expelled out of your system. 6. You'll experience a huge surge in your creativity. Creativity comes from your emotions and subconscious mind. Between your conscious and subconscious mind lie layers of garbage. We call this garbage ego, emotional toxins and negative feelings. Meditation helps you leap frog that garbage to the land of pure creativity. 7. You'll experience MUCH deeper sleep. Sleep is when you rest your physical body but not your mental body (like when you dream). Meditation is when you rest your mental body but not your physical body. A well rested mental body will make your sleep quota reduce. Try it. 8. Your happiness levels increase. Studies have shown that meditation reduces the size of the amygdala in your brain. A part of your mind linked to negative emotions like fear, stress, envy and anger. One of the changes you'll witness 6 months into the process. 9. You'll have a lot more content (and a lot more ideas) if you're a content creator. Whats the biggest change meditation has brought about in your life? I've tagged some of my SUPERSTAR friends who have used meditation to forward their careers and lives.

Things I struggle with most mornings – puffy face, tired eyes, facial and chest hair (thank you PCOD 🥴). But I do my skincare, a mask or just a nice moisturiser + sunscreen, sometimes my gua-sha, and I instantly feel better 💆🏻‍♀️ There’s immense power in approaching your body and your imperfections lovingly, gently, with kindness. Self-love cannot exist without self-acceptance. Self-acceptance does not mean not working towards higher goals, but making peace with the imperfections, not hiding, not shaming, not rejecting the parts of yourself that are hard to love 💛 What do you struggle with when it comes to self-love and self-acceptance? Let’s have a discussion in the comments below. . . . p.s – necklace from @shoplune ✨ #selflove #selfcare #nofilter #skincare #skinlove
