Sidharth Malhotra who was last seen in Marjaavan in 2019. The movie also starred Tara Sutaria, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Rakul Preet among others. And now according to a report by Pinkvilla the actor has been roped in for Ronnie Screwvala‘s upcoming espionage thriller.
A source close to the development revealed that Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP has been chalking out plans for an action film for some time now. Touted to be an espionage thriller which will be mounted on a big scale, the production house wanted a young actor to play the lead hence offered the role to Sidharth. The actor liked the script and agreed to come on board. The spy thriller will have several stunts and action sequences in it.
The source further added “After Uri worked wonders for the banner, the team was working on this film’s pre-production, which revolves around the India-Pakistan cross border relationship. Sidharth will play a RAW agent in Pakistan.”
The film is expected to go on floors in 2021 in February after the actor wraps up work on the Thadam remake.
Sidharth Malhotra also has SherShaah up for release in 2021. The actor has also been roped in for two other films- the Thadam remake and Indra Kumar’s Thank God.
