Marvel fans hold on to your breaths or horses, whatever you prefer. The Marvel Cinematic Universe might just have some big things planned ahead for the third installment of the standalone Spider-Man movie featuring Tom Holland.
With the return of J.K Simmons and Jammie Foxx to the Spider-Man world, fans can’t help but wonder if the OG Spider-Man Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also reprise their roles. With more news coming out from the sets each day, it seems more likely that this might not just be a fan theory.
New rumours suggest that while nothing has been set in stone and no contracts are drawn up, Marvel head Kevin Feige is interested in seeing all three wall climbers together onscreen. With speculations that Dr. Strange is going to be there to help Peter Parker out, it’s not impossible that we see two other Spider-Mans in the next movie. With Peter Parker‘s identity out in the open, it’s possible that he uses different universes to hide from the one that knows his identity. At the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter’s identity is revealed by Mysterio on J. Jonah Jameson‘s show, and with all signs of Kraven the hunter coming at Peter and Dr. Strange being involved, the theory of 2 other Spider-Mans is one we can’t look past.
Many speculate that Dr. Strange is going to use whatever universes created by Loki and Steve Rogers to hide Peter there which will mean he might go to Andrew Garfield’s and Tobey Macguire’s New York. But nothing is confirmed and these are mostly speculations and fan theories.
But how cool would it be if it were to come true? Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for this one.
