In this week’s recommendations, we have Ruhi Singh telling us what 5 shows she’s been currently watching and loving. Ruhi is a former Miss India, an actor, and a content creator. And her show recommendations are worth adding to your binge-watch list. 1. Homeland
Where: Disney+ Hotstar
So the first show that I’m watching is Homeland and it’s a classic. It’s on Hotstar. The show’s got eight seasons. So I think it’s a great show to binge-watch if you like intelligence agencies and security agencies between countries and all of that. So, I think it’s one of my favorite shows ever and I binged watched all eight seasons in one go.
2. Emily In Paris
Where: Netflix
The second show that I’m watching, right now, is Emily In Paris—it is on Netflix and I truly recommend it. It’s extremely refreshing, beautiful and picturesque. The show is about Emily who goes to Paris and the kind of life, you know, the cultural changes that she experiences being an American and I can totally relate to it because very soon I plan to also go somewhere for a project in another country. So I sort of feel like Emily in Paris.
3. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Where: Amazon Prime
The third show is The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which is on Amazon Prime. I think it’s a beautiful show—I love retro shows. I love shows which are about the 50s and 60s and I think the styling and the colors and you know, the way the clothes it’s beautiful. Also, the acting is fabulous. It’s got some beautiful actors and it’s about Mrs. Maisel who I relate to very much.
4. Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father
Where: Netflix
Another show that I’d like to recommend is Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father. It is on Netflix. The show is absolutely hilarious, Jack Whitehall is an extremely good-looking man. And I think I have a major crush on him. Yes, but apart from that all in all it’s a great show. His father who’s this typical Englishmen and Jack Whitehall and how they travel and experience different cultures. I think it’s extremely hilarious.
5. The Crown
Where: Netflix
Another show I’d totally recommend is The Crown. It’s absolutely one of my favorites and I can watch it any amount of time, I’ve actually watched it twice. That’s how much I love this show. It’s about the British Monarchy and how the British royal family talked among themselves and their stories and it’s very nice. It’s historical and a lovely watch. The Crown is a nice watch while you have tea or while having dinner in the evening. It also has great quotes. So yeah, it’s pretty nice. They’re coming up with a new season in November. So I’m really excited because that season introduces Princess Diana and I have always been very curious.
