With the film industry slowly resuming work and getting back on-field, there have been some very exciting announcements about new films in the past few months. One of them is Kriti Kharbanda and Vikrant Massey‘s upcoming rom-com, 14 Phere.
Only in August this year, the makers announced the film in a super fun video. Vikrant and Kriti play Sanjay and Aditi, who are seen planning their wedding along with the director of the film, Devanshu Singh. Now, according to a Mumbai Mirror report, it is stated that the film is set to go on floors from November 10th.
The publication quotes a source close to the film, who reveals that the film is set to go on floors with an eight-day schedule in Madh Island and Kamalistan Studios in Mumbai. The makers are set to be following all the guidelines and mandates set by the Government to maintain safety standards amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from the lead cast, the supporting cast consisting of Vinay Pathak, Gauahar Khan, Vineet Kumar, Govind Pandey, and Yamini Das are also set to join them on sets.
14 Pheras is a story about how, in India, marriage is not just between two people, but between two families. The report states that Vikrant and Kriti attended workshops during the lockdown to prep for the film and Kriti has even been working on her voice modulations to suit her character. The film is said to be shot in Mumbai, Lucknow, Jaipur and Delhi and is all set to release on July 9, 2021.
