Three of India’s biggest fashion weeks wrapped up earlier this week and the runways were brimming with an array of festive options. In most of the collections, comfort was given a focal point, which was then followed by style. Ethnic-wear for the coming festivities was mostly defined by swirly anarkalis, dhoti-pants and playful shararas. Or her sartorial sister, ghararas. Which seem to be a celebrity favourite off-late. Although ghararas have been en-trend on and off, the last one month saw a notable rise in their appearances. The latest celebrity to give her stamp of approval to this style is Kajal Aggarwal. The actor took to her Instagram to wish her followers a happy Dussehra with her beau, Gautam Kitchlu, in a stunning Arpita Mehta creation. Scroll for more details!

Kajal’s set came in a lovely ocean blue hue, that was printed with blurred polka dots. The sleeveless kurta featuring a square neckline was adorned with gota patti work, while the hemline saw cowrie shell detailing. The actress teamed her kurta with swirly gharara pants and rounded off her look with a dupatta decorated with a gota border.
In the accessory department, Kajal picked shoulder-grazing chaandbalis and a gold bangle from Tyaani. Metallic gold heels added just the finishing touch to her at-home festive look!
For her beauty, Kajal went for soft brown eyes with a dash of mascara. Mauve lips, blushed cheeks and hair in a side parting rounded off her hair and makeup.
