The Bigg Boss fever is catching on, with its 14th season going on in full swing. Currently, the two people on the show who are the centre of all the discussions in the house are Kavita Kaushik and Eijaz Khan. In the Weekend Ka Vaar episode on Sunday, Kavita had a problem in calling Eijaz her friend, and revealed very personal information about his mental state.

In the episode, she tells Salman Khan about how she had cooked for him ‘out of humanity’ during the lockdown because he said he doesn’t have food at home and had no one else. But she says she still doesn’t consider him his friend as they had only met a handful of times since she entered the industry. She says, ‘He is a crazy man, such a man cannot be my friend‘. Salman, as well as the other contestants on the show like Pavitra Punia, Shardul Thakur, Nikki Tamboli and Jaan Kumar Sanu and others condemned her remarks. Eijaz even went ahead and apologised for calling her his friend.

Not just her, but a lot of ex-Bigg Boss contestants and netizens also slammed Kavita for her insensitive remarks on Eijaz. Kashmera Shah, a season 1 contestant of the show, said her sympathies are with Eijaz and that Kavita just made him the top contender for the trophy now. Bigg Boss 9 contestant Priya Malik said that it was not right to help someone and then mock them on national television for their struggle with their mental health.
