Kajal Aggarwal tied the knot with entrepreneur Gautam Kitchlu on October 30th in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. Kajal took to her Instagram to share pictures from all the different functions — right from the mehendi, engagement, haldi and wedding.

The wedding took place in Mumbai, at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel, where guests were tested before they attended the ceremonies and a bio-secure bubble was created. The lovely moments from the celebrations were captured by celebrity wedding photographer, Joseph Radhik, which they shared along with the hashtag #Kajgautkitched!

Right after the wedding, Gautam posted a super sweet picture of Kajal about how it looked like waking up as Mrs. Kitchlu and it’s absolutely cute!

Have a look:

Here’s a round-up of all that happened at the #Kajgautkitched wedding:

The engagement

Kajal shared glimpses of her engagement which took place in June. She wrote about how she had designer Manish Malhotra and his team work on her magnificent yellow saree even with the lockdown in full force. She shared stills of both her and Gautam posing in matching masks and looked absolutely ethereal.

The mehendi

Kajal looked like such a breath of fresh air at her mehendi ceremony! She donned a green suit with Kundan earrings and had her hair in braids. And don’t we just love her all natural make-up each time!

The Haldi

Haldi is always about the fun and excitement of the approaching big day, no? And Kajal’s face says it all! Loved the absolutely candid and goofy picture she shared from the haldi!

The wedding

And on to the big day! Kajal posted an absolutely stunning picture of ‘the calm before the storm’ and we certainly couldn’t keep calm! She then gave us a glimpse into some very special moments from the wedding day that were beyond beautiful! The actress wrote a note dedicated to the designer of her bridal lehenga, Anamika Khanna. She also dedicated a note to how she and Gautam have a strong connection with South India, which led them to include a Telugu ritual called the Jeelakarra Bellam. In another post, she also spoke about the experience of planning a wedding amidst a pandemic and how they missed all their friends and extended family at the celebrations.

The reception

While the couple haven’t shared anything from their intimate reception ceremony, there are a few images on the internet of the bride and groom, all smiles and looking oh-so-happy together.

This sure was such a lovely wedding, and we wish the couple all the love and luck in their life together!
