After eight long months of coronavirus led lockdown, actor Ajay Devgn is all set to wear the Indian Air Force uniform again as he gets off to resume work on the much-awaited film, Bhuj: The Pride of India. According to a report by MidDay, the actor will join Sanjay Dutt, Sharad Kelkar and Ammy Virk for a 12-day schedule in November. This will see the cast putting up some action sequences and a few dramatic scenes.

According to the report, the source told the publication that Ajay and helmer Abhishek Dudhaiya are currently looking for the location for the shoot.  The source was quoted as saying, “Given the prevailing scenario, the production team is hunting for a location that meets their safety demands. The final schedule is likely to kick off post-Diwali. Sanjay, who is currently with his family in Dubai, will fly down after the festival to join the proceedings. After Ajay finishes his portions by the month-end, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi and the rest of the cast will be called for the patchwork.”

Bhuj is set during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, which will see Ajay Devgn playing IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who rebuilt the IAF airbase in Bhuj with the aid of Sunderben Jetha Madharparya and 300 local women. Confirming the shooting of the pending schedule, filmmaker Abhishek Dhundhaiya said, “We are looking forward to going back on the set, and have all the safety measures in place.
