Akshay Kumar And Kriti Sanon's 'Bachchan Panday' To Go On Floors In January After Massive Delay

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon who shared screen space in Housefull 4 will be again seen in Bachchan Panday. Now according to a report by Mumbai Mirror, the Farhad Samji helmed masala action entertainer will go on floors in 2021. It was a few months ago when Khiladi Kumar Akshay had shared the first look from his film which caused a whole lot of buzz on social media. Bachchan Pandey is the remake of the Tamil film Veeram which released in 2014.

Akshay Kumar who is currently filming for his upcoming period drama, Prithviraj, alongside Manushi Chillar at a city studio, had recently completed shooting for Bell Bottom in Scotland. His next, Raghava Lawrence’s Laxmii is all set to premiere on Disney+Hotstar on November 9. Apart from this, the actor also has to wrap up his parts in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush, before he starts shooting for Bachchan Panday.

The makers of Bachchan Pandey have decided to complete the shooting of the film in two months. A source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror that Akshay, along with Kriti Sanon, filmmaker Farhad Samji and the rest of the unit will jet off to Jaisalmer for a 60-day-schedule during which they will be shooting in real locations. The source further added that last month, the production team even secured all the necessary permissions.
