Superstar Akshay Kumar seems to be on a roll this year. Recently, Khiladi Kumar completed the shooting of Ranjit M Tiwari’s thriller Bell Bottom in Scotland. The actor is currently shooting for Yash Raj Films’ period drama Prithviraj which will also mark the Bollywood debut of Manushi Chillar. Post which, Akshay will wrap his portion for Atrangi Re. The actor will kick-start 2021 with Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bachchan Pandey. And now according to a report by Mumbai Mirror, it has now been reported that the actor has signed Mudassar Aziz’s next.
A source told the publication that the film is a whacky comedy. Akshay agreed to be a part of the project as soon as he was narrated the subject. For the unversed, Mudassar Azis has earlier helmed romcoms like the remake of Pati Patni Aur Who and Happy Bhaag Jayegi. This film will mark his first collaboration with Akshay Kumar. The report also suggested that the film will go on the floors around July next year.
Akshay’s Laxmii recently premiered on Disney+Hotstar. Helmed by Raghava Lawrence the horror-comedy also stars Kiara Advani.
