Salman Khan‘s upcoming film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is one of the most awaited films of the year. It was only recently when the superstar, along with the whole cast and crew, wrapped up the shooting for the Prabhudeva directorial. And now, we have exclusively got to know that Disha Patani is playing a supermodel in the film.
Salman Khan, who has made a ritual of releasing his films during Eid every year, had to give it a miss this year due to the pandemic. The post-production of the film is currently in process. Earlier, the makers were planning a Republic Day weekend release in 2021. However, they were hesitant about the low footfall in theatres ever since it reopened at 50 per cent capacity in several states. So, the producers felt that the movie should release next year on May 12 during Eid. According to a report by a leading daily, a source was quoted as saying— “Considering Radhe is a big-budget movie, the makers calculated that it will earn in the ballpark of Rs 120 crore, if released in the current circumstances. Taking this into account, the entire team — including its worldwide distributors Yash Raj Films — felt it would be wise to release it on May 12, 2021, thus keeping Salman’s tradition of Eid offerings alive.”
