Nawazuddin Siddiqui is an actor who is constantly surprising us with the his performances, each one better than the other. Be it the don, Ganesh Gaitonde in Sacred Games or the honest and sharp police inspector, Jatil Yadav in Raat Akeli Hai, he has breathed life into each character in the way only he can. Now, we just exclusively got to know about a brand new film he is set to star in!
Nawazuddin is going to be seen in an Eros International production titled, Anwar.
The actor was last seen in the satirical comedy-drama, Serious Men, directed by Sudhir Mishra. The Netflix film was based on a book of the same name written by Manu Joseph.
Recently, the actor took to his Instagram to announce his next venture, Sangeen, where he will be seen opposite Elnaaz Norouzi. The film is set to be directed by Jaideep Chopra with music by Raftaar and will be out in cinemas in 2021. Just last month, there was an announcement teaser that dropped regarding another film he is set to be a part of. While the makers haven’t revealed the name of the film yet, the announcement read, ‘An incredible story you won’t believe is true!’. Read more about it here.
Nawaz also has the upcoming American-Indian-Bangladeshi drama, No Man’s Land in his kitty along with the film, Bole Chudiyan opposite Tamannaah Bhatia and Kushan Nandy‘s Jogira Sara Ra Ra opposite Neha Sharma.
Coming back to the film, Anwar, I sure cannot wait to know more about it and about Nawaz’s role in it!
