The most awaited Indian Premiere League (IPL) kept the entire country hooked the entire season and how! While that’s done and most fans don’t know what to watch anymore, seems like they have something interesting in store! In our country, if there is one thing other than cricket that unites people, it’s music, don’t you think? Now, according to a report by Mumbai Mirror, there is another league coming up that’s going to be all about music.

ZEE TV, where we have seen some amazing editions of the singing show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, is all set to launch India’s very first Indian Pro Music League in 2021.

The format of the show is super interesting, too. There are going to be a total of 6 teams owned which are owned by celebrities in the likes of Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Govinda, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh among others. Each team will have two experienced musicians/singers as the captains along with a few reality TV stars and fresh talent from across the country. These teams will represent different regions of India it’s going to be a face-off between them through a series of 5 innings. This will be followed by a super match which will include audience votes and as well as votes by the judges and the champion of the league will be chosen.

This sure seems super exciting and I can’t wait to catch this celebration of Indian music.
