As is the norm, fans all over along with celebrating the festival of lights also wait for their favourite stars to upload pictures of their Diwali. The same is true for #DeepVeer fans. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had double the reason to celebrate over the weekend, what with it being their second anniversary and all of that. Their Diwali picture came a day after they shared a romantic picture for their anniversary. But their Diwali picture as expected did not disappoint at all and lit up all our phone screens with their unabandoned smiles.

But what came after was what caught our eye. The internet of course is a bizarre place, and this picture became a meme-makers favourite. One such viral meme compared Deepika and Ranveer to Motichoor Ka Ladoo and Gajar Ka Halwa. Deepika’s reaction to it was simply, Sure.. why not? Being a huge fan of sweets she certainly took this meme as a huge compliment and posted about it on her stories.
