The trailer of the much-awaited Tom and Jerry movie is now out. After almost three decades, our favourite cat-and-mouse chase will be back hitting the theatres and we couldn’t be more elated. 2020 has been a rough year and movies like these are exactly what we need right now.

The Tom and Jerry trailer begin with Bruno Mars’ ‘Count On Me’ playing in the background with the narrator telling the audience that our very own Tom and Jerry are all set to ‘start over in a big city’. The 2-minute-24-second long trailer shows the cat and mouse duo in their iconic chase.

A few days before the official Twitter handle of Tom and Jerry Movie tweeted announced the Tom and Jerry trailer release date. They wrote— “Everyone’s favourite cat and mouse have made their way across the world and have finally arrived in New York City. Don’t miss Tom and Jerry in their new trailer for #TomAndJerryMovie tomorrow!”

The ongoing pandemic has postponed many theatrical releases and it remains to be seen if the movie will go through the same nemesis. For now, Tom & Jerry is slated to release in theatres in 2021.
