Yesterday, South star Prabhas took to his social media and shared that an important announcement will be made about his film, Adipurush on the next day. Now, at 7:11 AM the actor has announced that the film is all set to hit the silver screens on 11/8/2022. It is to be noted that the previous update regarding Saif Ali Khan being a part of the film was also announced at 7:11 am.
Taking to his Instagram, he wrote— “#Adipurush in Theatres 11.08.2022 #SaifAliKhan @omraut #BhushanKumar @vfxwaala @rajeshnair29 @tseriesfilms @retrophiles1 @tseries.official #TSeries.”

Late on Wednesday, Prabhas had taken to his social media to share the logo of the movie.
According to reports, Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana and will feature Prabhas in the lead role. The announcement was made in mid-August in 2019. It was recently announced by the makers of the film that Saif will play the main antagonist in the film, Lankesh. Making the announcement, Prabhas wrote: “7000 years ago existed the world’s most intelligent demon! #Adipurush.”
The makers are yet to announce the female lead.
Helmed by Om Raut, the film will be shot in Hindi and Telugu. The 3D film will later be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada among other languages.
