These days, Prajakta Koli a.k.a MostlySane is on an absolute winning streak. As we all know she is starring in a Netflix original series called ‘Mismatched‘, alongside Rohit Saraf and a dynamic cast. This much-awaited series has finally released on Netflix today. Mismatched is a 6 episode series that revolves around the life of college-going students and it involves a millennial cast. However, for us, MostlySane was the highlight of the whole series. Here are 5 reasons why we fell in love with her in Mismatched. If you haven’t seen the series yet, this is a signal for you to start binge-watching it right away!
Tbh, this point is kind of a given! We all have seen Prajakta act in her videos and her comic timing is spot on. However, we were absolutely blown away by her acting in Mismatched because she was so natural! She completely embraced the character of Dimple and did it so much justice. By the end of the series, we could literally connect with her character on a whole new level.
In the series, Prajakta played the role of Dimple Ahuja, who was not just a nerd but also an amazing gamer. How many times have we heard that ‘gaming is not for girls’? Throughout the series, Prajakta breaks this notion by acing the character of gamer Dimple. She shows everyone that girls can be ambitious, focused and can kick anyone down when it came to gaming. Girl, we are absolutely rooting for you!
If their chemistry doesn’t make you cry, we don’t know what will! Rohit Saraf and Prajakta’s on-screen chemistry literally made our hearts melt. Their characters were so different from each other yet they ‘Mismatched‘ so perfectly. Even by the end of the series, we just couldn’t get enough. Excuse us, while we go and think of a ship name for both of them!
We all know that MostlySane is a great actor but the way she made the character of Dimple so relatable was simply phenomenal. She is shown to be a strong, ambitious and nerdy girl who is so driven by her passion. However, like any young adult, even she falls into the clutches of romance, drama and complex friendships. Every millennial or Gen-Z kid might be able to relate to her story.
Like any teenager, even Dimple wanted to make friends and have someone to hang out with. However, in the course of making friends, she never tried to change herself. Prajakta played the role of a headstrong girl who was confident about her identity and never tried to fit in. We love how MostlySane did so much justice to her strong lead character. Quite inspiring, isn’t it?
The whole cast of Mismatched was mind-blowing but MostlySane has a special place in our heart. We cannot stress enough on how proud we are of her performance. What did you think of her acting in the series? Tell us in the comments below.
