Pregnancy is definitely a very beautiful and special phase of every woman’s life. Anushka Sharma is one soon-to-be celebrity mommy who has also been enjoying her days expecting the arrival of her little one. She shares glimpses of her showing off her baby bump on her Instagram from time-to-time and its all things adorable! Now, the actress took to her social media to speak about her journey with yoga during her pregnancy.

Anushka shared a picture of her performing the Shirshasana where she does a headstand with the support of a wall, and her ‘able’ husband, Virat Kohli, of course! She says that because she is such a regular when it comes to yoga, her doctor suggested that she continue doing it, with the necessary precautions and support.

Here’s what she wrote:

This exercise is ‘hands-down’ (and legs up) the most difficult one  #throwback . P.S. – As yoga is a big part of my life, my doctor recommended that I can do all such asanas that I was doing before I was pregnant( after a certain stage)barring twists & extreme forward bends, but of course with the appropriate and required support. For the Shirshasana, which I have been doing for many years, I ensured that I used the wall for support and also my very able husband supporting me balance, to be extra safe . This was also done under the supervision of my yoga teacher @eefa_shrof who was virtually with me through this session. I’m so glad I could continue my practice through my pregnancy.

Virat is currently on paternity leave until his wife gives birth to their baby. Anushka has been shooting for a few brand commitments this past week and was out and about at the studios, of course, while following all the safety precautions.
