Every day is a perfect day to show your pets how much you love them. And although humans and animals face language barrier, we have our own sweet ways of communicating with one another. If your heart has been oozing with love for your furry friend and you just don’t know how to show them how much you appreciate them, don’t you worry. We’ve listed down some super easy ways you and your pet can develop a deeper connection and express your feelings. Scroll down to check them out!

1. Talk To Them

Your pet’s mental and physical health is just as important. And spoiling them with some quality time never hurt anybody. In fact, talk to them and include them in conversations. You’ll notice them understanding and responding to you soon. It’s such a beautiful way to express how much you love your pets!

2. Treatos FTW!

On your way back home from work, stop by a pet store or a bakery to pick some surprise goodies for your pets. It’s a sweet way of showing that you are grateful for their companionship and want to make them happy too, just like they make you!

3. Celebrate Their Birthdays

Who doesn’t love a little birthday celebration and pampering? Spoil your pets by celebrating their birthdays along with a special cake, some cool party pops, their friends and favourite treats. We assure you some sloppy kisses from your pooch as a thank you!

4. Make Eye Contact With Them

Believe it or not but making eye contact with your floof can do more than just warm your heart and soul! It actually has psychological benefits for the both—the hooman and the pupper. Making eye contact can increase oxytocin levels and make you both happier!

5. Surprise Them With A New Toy

While you’re at that pet store, don’t forget to look around a little in the toys section. Babies love toys and aren’t our pets practically our little babies? Also, this doesn’t necessarily mean you have to buy an expensive toy. Just the type that fits right with your pet’s personality!

6. Go For Walks

And by walks, we don’t mean taking them out for pee or poo! Going on walks with your dog can be a lot of fun—they get to sniff around and check out new scents, maybe scare a few birds and just stick their tongues out and enjoy spending time with you.
