This year saw the ladies in Bollywood dish out some rather path-breaking and absolutely amazing performances across a range of genres. Be it a Deepika Padukone for Chhapaak, or Taapsee Pannu in Thappad to Tripti Dimri in Bulbbul, they have absolutely won everyone over. But guess which performance won over Deepika this year?
During the Actresses Roundtable 2020 with Rajeev Masand, Deepika was all praises for Taapsee’s super fun ‘Biggini Shoot’ video which she made during her recent vacation in the Maldives. She said that she has always been a fan of Taapsee’s but she became a bigger one after seeing her performance in that video! For the unversed, ‘Biggini Shoot’ is a parody track composed by Yashraj Mukhate after the video clip from Emotional Atyachaar went viral.
Taapsee replied to Deepika, feeling very touched said that she will make a special video for her in the future. Always love a fun banter between our favourite actresses, no?
But on a serious note, Deepika mentioned that she absolutely enjoyed watching Paatal Lok and Delhi Crime on OTT. Taapsee also said she recently watched the Shefali Shah starrer, Delhi Crime (2019), which won the International Emmy‘s last month.
Apart from them, the roundtable also featured Shabana Azmi, Rasika Dugal, Kiara Advani, Janhvi Kapoor, Tripti Dimri and Tillotama Shome. That sure is quite a roundtable with some amazing women chatting about their films, craft and more!
