Dimple Kapadia has been whom everyone has been talking about after her amazing performance in Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet. From there on, looks like she has attracted quite a few interesting roles in Bollywood as well. The actress is all set to be seen in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan.
According to a report in Mid-Day, the veteran actress has started shoot on the espionage thriller directed by Siddharth Anand this week. A source close to the actress tells the publication that she has been flooded with offers post her appearance in Tenet. They add that she will be essaying the role of a RAW agent who will help SRK (who plays an undercover agent) in his mission. It is set to be a 20-day schedule for Dimple Ji in Mumbai.
Pathan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. SRK and Deepika also shot for a few portions in a Mumbai studio recently. Yash Raj Films is aiming to create a spy universe along with Pathan and their other spy thrillers — Tiger Zinda Hai and War. News also is that Salman Khan is set to play a cameo in the film as Tiger and has allocated dates for the shoot of his sequence.
Coming back to Dimple Ji, she will be re-uniting with SRK after 28 years. They last shared screen space in the film Dil Hai Aashna (1992) and I sure can’t wait to see them come together in this exciting spy thriller next!
