Sonam Kapoor Ahuja Shows Us That Boardroom Essentials Can Be Fun

Only Sonam Kapoor Ahuja can bring to the fore the best of style inspiration even in a pandemic-riddled year. The actor is in London with her husband, Anand Ahuja, and is spending most of her time doing what she does best—dressing-up! From giving athleisure a boardroom-spin to dropping an effortless lesson or two in clashing prints to making winter layering look all too easy, her Instagram feed is full of inspiration for style-conscious peeps. Just days ago, the actor posted a couple of quite dreamy pictures she took while visiting a bookstore in Notting Hill, making it safe to say that only Sonam can make book-shopping look so fashionable. Keep scrolling for more details!

Take cues from Sonam Kapoor Ahuja on how to layer light and still keep it warm:

The actor was dressed in a breezy, rosegold midi dress from Bhaane, that featured a quirky mushroom print all-over the silhouette. She cinched it at the waist with a burgundy-hued, croc-textured belt and threw on a layer of an oversized, muted teal blazer, the colour of which matched the mushrooms on her dress. She completed her look with a brown top-handle bag and burgundy, suede boots. A chunky silver chainlink necklace further upped the ante of her outfit! Square-shaped spectacles added that nerdy vibe to the look; a much-needed one given that she was visiting a bookstore!

Sonam’s makeup was not at all bookstore-appropriate but we’re fans, nonetheless. And also because it elevated her entire look. Makeup artist Maria Asadi gave the actor heavily kohl-ed eyes, a thick line of black eyeliner and some sparkle on the crease. Filled-in brows, contoured cheeks with a hint of blush and powder pink lips rounded off her look. Hairstylist Aamir Naveed styled her tresses in a messy low-bun.
