The celebrated actor, Irrfan Khan‘s untimely death in April this year really did leave a void in the Hindi and global film industry. He has given us some gems of performances and noteworthy films throughout his career. His last outing in the cinemas was Homi Adajania‘s Angrezi Medium that released on a digital platform post his passing. But seems like he’s still not done with spreading his magic on the big screens.

Just today, Irrfan’s son Babil Khan and wife Sutapa Sikdar shared the motion poster of his film, The Song Of Scorpions, that is all set to release in theatres in the coming year. The video his family posted starts with the lines, “a golden chance to witness the magician on the big screen for one last time.” Sharing the motion poster on his Instagram, Babil wrote, “One more time, perhaps not the last. #thesongofscorpions.” Babil’s mother Sutapa also shared  the poster and wrote, “never the last time”.

Directed by Anup Singh, The Song Of Scorpions premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in 2017. The film also starred Golshifteh Farahani and Waheeda Rehman in significant roles. It is now all set to release in theatres here in India next year.

This news surely left Irrfan’s fans all over the world super excited and I too cannot wait to experience watching him weave his magic on the big screen super soon.
