Saif Ali Khan is one actor that is experimenting fearlessly with the craft of acting by venturing into different mediums. And he’s back again in the webspace with another political thriller called Tandav. The teaser of the web series came out two weeks ago and boasted of a spectacular cast that included Dimple Kapadia, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Zeeshan Ayub, Sunil Grover, Kritika Kamra, Kumud Kumar Mishra, Sarah Jane Dias, Dino Morea, Gauhar Khan, Sandhya Mridul, Anup Soni, Paresh Pahuja, Shonali Nagrani, Hiten Tejwani, Amyra Dastur, Neha Hinge, Sukhmani Sadana, and others.
The trailer shows Saif Ali Khan as the natural (probable) successor to his father’s Prime Minister position. But there are other players in the game that he doesn’t anticipate – Enter Dimple Kapadia’s character. The rest of the show seems like a race to the throne or dethrone whoever will seemingly take over. The show sees Sunil Grover in what seems to be a menacingly powerful henchman to Saif’s character. The web series is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It is produced by Ali and Himanshu Kishan Mehra and written by Gaurav Solanki. This is the first time Saif Ali Khan will be collaborating with Ali. Sunil Grover has worked with the director in Bharat.
