Rumours surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s marriage has been going around for quite some time now. But now, it seems like it’s happening as and Kim is preparing to separate from Kanye after 7 years of being married to one another.
Page Six reports that Kim and Kanye “are over” and that “divorce is imminent” for the couple. It states that Kim has hired the divorce attorney to the stars, Laura Wasser, and they are in settlement talks. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been living separately with her kids in their family home in Calabasas, California while Kanye is at his $14 million ranch in Wyoming.
The Page Six report quotes a source as saying, “Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done.”
Speaking about the reason the spilt is happening, the source shares that “Kim has grown up a lot”. They add that she is serious about taking up the bar exams and becoming a lawyer while Kanye “is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.” It is also said that Kim has been supportive of Kanye’s bipolar episodes and didn’t want to separate then because it would be cruel to him.
Earlier in 2020, Kanye released a set of tweets against Kim and her mom, Kris Jenner. He went ahead to call Kris Jenner Kris Jong-Un, claiming that the family was trying to force him to take psychiatric treatment.
The report also states that now the only sticking point in their divorce settlement is their Calabasas home on which the both of them spent around $40 million dollars on while redesigning.
This is Kim’s third divorce post her split with basketball player Kris Humphries and Damon Thomas. Kim married Kanye in an elaborate wedding in Italy in 2014. They have four children — daughter North (7), son Saint (5), daughter Chicago (3) and son Psalm (19 months).
