It’s the new year and we already have new movies to look forward to! Just now, we got news of the super exciting project titled ‘Thank God’ going on floors this month starring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakulpreet Singh.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the news of this slice-of-life comedy with a lovely message at the end. It is all set to go on floors on January 21st, 2021. Now, if there is one genre that I love watching it has to be slice-of-life movies with relatable characters and stories from everyday life. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film was previously going to go on floors sometime last year, but due to the pandemic, it got pushed further and it’s finally set to begin now.

Rakulpreet has starred alongside Ajay previously in the romantic-comedy De De Pyaar De and is all set to work with him again in Mayday. She has worked with Siddharth in Marjaavaan and Aiyaary. This will be the first time this trio is going to team up together and I sure am excited for this one!
Speaking about the film, director Indra Kumar says:
We have been waiting for a long time to begin the shoot and finally we will start on 21st of January, ‘Thank God!’ (laughs). It is an entertaining slice of life comedy with a message and i am quite excited to be working again with Ajay Devgn whom I’ve known since so many years along with the young guns Siddharth and Rakul. Im also happy to join hands with Bhushan Kumar and the T-Series team, hopefully it all goes well as we have taken all the precautions necessary! Looking forward to a great 2021.
Producer Bhushan Kumar adds, “I have worked with Ajay Sir and he aces this genre while Sidharth and Rakul will show their fans something new with Thank God.”
