Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the director who helmed Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Pink, is all set to capture our attention with another exciting project. According to reports, the filmmaker this time will be helming a social-drama that will call attention to the issues in today’s media along with the crime in the field of journalism. Pink was a hard-hitting and strong film which struck a chord with the audience and made them understand the significance of consent.
This time, Aniruddha has decided to cast Yami Gautam as the lead in his upcoming social drama. The topic that the filmmaker has chosen to make a film on, happens to be one of the most prevailing ones in the current times. While the detail regarding the male lead of the film is yet to be announced Yami Gautam will be seen leading the film. It is expected to go on floors by mid-this year.
Apart from this yet-to-be-titled project, Yami Gautam will also be seen in Bhoot Police, A Thursday, and Dasvi.
