Brace yourself all the Deadpool fans! Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige has confirmed that the much-awaited third instalment in the popular Deadpool franchise is happening.

In an interview with Collider, Kevin spoke about Deadpool 3. He was quoted as saying—”It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be (filming) this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor.”

Actor Ryan Reynolds had a super funny reaction to the announcement. He took to his Twitter and wrote— “Full disclosure: I showed them Spider-Man 1 & 2 and told them it was Deadpool 1 & 2″.

Kevin Feige further spoke about the film— on what the audience can expect with Deadpool 3 coming up. He was quoted as saying—”We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life”.

The first Deadpool was helmed by Tim Miller and the second by David Leitch. However, Leitch will not be wearing the director’s hat due to his super-packed schedule. Penned by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin, Deadpool 3 features Ryan Reynolds. The release date is yet to be announced.
