Sonakshi Sinha has been crushing hard on easy-breezy yet statement ethnic looks ever since the festive season kicked in (in 2020), subsequently kickstarting the wedding season. Think shararas, ghararas and kite pants. Her recent few traditional looks should set that record straight. Honestly, who can blame her? The unmatched comfort of silhouettes like kite pants—an iteration of harem pants—makes them unavoidable for Indian weddings, where dancing is considered an imperative task. In fact, Sonakshi loves these roomy pants so much, that after sporting a co-ord set comprising a cape and kite pants, from Arpita Mehta‘s latest collection, Meadaura, for a wedding in November, the actor was spotted giving a similar look from the same collection a spin once again. Sonakshi Sinha’s OOTD is as stylish as it is comfortable:

To begin with, a vibrant and refreshing hue like mustard instantly makes the look a winner. It’s eye-catchy, fits right in with the occasion yet stands out! The next statement-making element of her look is the trendy silhouette of her outfit. The breezy yoke cape comes with a sexy centre-slit, a heavily embroidered neckline and a frilly hemline. Sonakshi paired her blouse with matching kite pants, making a great case for dressy ethnic-wear high on comfort. The delicate twig print in white only added to the goodness of the ensemble. She further elevated her look with statement chaandbalis from Razwada Jewels, adding just the perfect amount of bling to her look.

In the makeup section, Sonakshi chose to leave her straightened, abdomen-grazing locks open enhancing the drama of her shaadi-ready look. Highly-defined brows, kohled eyes and mascara-laden lashed concluded her eye makeup. Contoured cheeks with a pat of blush and a neutral lip colour rounded off her stunning beauty look.
