Mirzapur fame, actor Priyanshu Painyuli is all set to headline Airlift director Raja Krishna Menon’s yet-untitled next. According to a report by MidDay, it is going to be a 10-part black comedy, which is being shot over the span of 45 days between December 2020 and February 2021 and it has been commissioned by Amazon Prime Video.

Only days post his wedding that took place in the last week of November, the actor dived into the project as he filmed a few stints in Mumbai. The publication quoted a source as saying— “Priyanshu had a memorable year in 2020 with Extraction and Mirzapur 2. When the show came his way, he said yes almost immediately. The actor will be juggling the series along with the shoot of Rashmi Rocket, which sees him opposite Taapsee Pannu. He is expected to resume work on the satire in January-end after he wraps up the Kutch schedule of Akarsh Khurana’s sports drama.”

The report further revealed that the series will be shot at real locations in suburban Mumbai and Jaipur, with the makers falling back to guerrilla shooting as it is comparatively easier to pull off amidst the current restrictions.
