Prabhas‘s Adipurush is one of the most anticipated films right now, and rightly so! The magnum opus, directed by Om Raut is being mounted on a huge scale and is a story based on the Ramayana that is set to star Saif Ali Khan alongside him, among others.
The makers are kicking off the work on the film today and are starting off with the motion capture of the film with the main cast present. This is a technology commonly used in International cinema to record the movement of objects or people. I am guessing the film is set to be high on graphics and special effects and this sure is getting me excited for it!

They will have an Mahurat ceremony on February 2nd, 2021 to officially begin the shoot of the film. A PAN-Indian film, Adipurush will release in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada.
The makers are yet to make a final announcement regarding the female lead in the film, but reports state Kriti Sanon has been roped in to play Sita. Apart from Adipurush, Prabhas will also be working on Salaar, his upcoming project with KGF director, Prashant Neel. Saif also has Bhoot police and is taking a paternity break too. Seems like the actors will juggle and manage their schedules now for Adipurush. Coming to the prep, Prabhas has reportedly been working on a lean body and learning archery while Saif is working on his body language to play the evil Raavan on screen.
The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair and is slated to release on August 11, 2022.
