1) Flower Power Inspiration

The blooming of flowers signifies new beginnings. And a fresh start is what we all are in need of. The trend of floral prints is no surprise as they are usually synonymous with the spring season. However, this year the use of floral holds more value. Designers have gone all out with the garden in bloom inspiration—from bright yellows to neon tulips, we see it all. So bring out your most vivid florals outfits and sport them boldly this spring!

2) Extra Large For Spring

The oversized style was pretty much called for post-pandemic and especially for spring. After months of lounging in pyjamas and loose clothing, it’s no surprise that designers have adapted this trend into their collections. No more borrowing shirts from your dad or boyfriend as you can proudly sport one of your own now! On the runways, we saw extra wide and extra long shirts paired with relaxed bottoms and shirt-dresses. This trend is all about billowing silhouettes and seasonally appropriate bright shades. We couldn’t be more on-board with this trend!

3) The Hole-In-One Trend

On a whole different page from oversized clothing comes the perforated clothing trend. Designers found a way to maintain balance by re-introducing this daring style. Apt those who need a break from the oversized loungewear, the punched holes make you feel sexy by revealing some skin. This spring season, we see the trend take form in unexpected ways. For instance, have a look at Prada‘s jumpsuits, turtlenecks, bodysuits and even sweaters. Add this to your wardrobe for a fun alternative to the regular staples. Moreover, taking inspiration from Prada’s runway, you can use the turtlenecks and bodysuits as a great layering base during transitional weather.

4) Feathery Affair For Spring

A throwback to the roaring twenties fashion, feathers made a debut in the spring 2021 collections. This trend has taken off in the form of skirts, coats, sweaters and even as a trim on clothing. The abundance of feathers has been paired with oversized puffers and chunky knit sweaters to stabilise the overall aesthetic. This is a great way to style the trend and make it more wearable. Moreover, we are much in need of something extravagant and this trend ticks the box. If only we could use these feathers to fly around the world!

5) Bold Bras Trend

Bras as tops or more commonly known as bralettes are back! After being unwearable during fall-winter, bra tops are back for the spring season. On the runway, designers showcased a variety of styles. We see the best of bras—from matching printed top and bottoms to a more formal approach of pairing it with a pant-suit. For all those excited to doll-up post-quarantine and make a midriff-baring fashion a statement with some stylish bralettes
