The Prabhas—Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Adipurush‘ is currently one of the most anticipated films in the block. Directed by Om Raut, the film is said to be set on a huge scale and is a story inspired by the epic, Ramayana.
A few days ago, on January 21st, the makers began the motion capture for the film, which is a technology commonly used in International cinema to record the movement of objects or people. We also informed that the Muhurat is all set to take place on February 2nd and just this morning, Prabhas shared a poster of the film announcing that the film has officially gone on floors.
The poster had the name of the film, ‘Adipurush’, along with the tagline below that read — “Celebrating the victory of good over evil” with the words “Aarambh” also mentioned. He captioned the post “#Adipurush Aarambh,” hinting that they have began shoot on the film today.

Another thing I am super curious about is the female lead of the film who will be playing Sita. While reports suggest that Kriti Sanon has been roped in for the role, no official announcement on it has been made.
This big-budget PAN-Indian film is set to release in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam. Adipurush is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair and is slated to release on August 11, 2022.
